That is the link to the recording of the show. Dr. Newman from the Michigan State Medical Society and some well known doctor whose name escapes me that appears here once in awhile speaking for the good guys.

It is VERY telling when Dr. Newman was asked, point blank, HAVE YOU WRITTEN A CERTIFICATION?

He state he had, once, for a patient of 30 years. He agreed to let him go to a CERTIFICATION clinic, to get an endorsement of what he had known for 20 years was 'already happening'.

This is interesting. He didn't want to go on the line, even for a patient he has known for 30 years (20 of which he knew the patient was smoking pot). He pawned it off on a certification clinic. He allowed it as an 'endorsement of what was already taking place'. Here is a doc with a long history with a patient that wants, has good results and clearly qualified, and he wouldn't give the cert. Wonder what it takes for him?

Very good interview Dr. Bob! I think I heard a pin drop after you explained that hospital administrators are prohibiting their member physicians from participating in the program. The part about patients being dismissed from practices was priceless too! I wish you had been interviewed first.

THANK YOU!!!!

And give him a chance to prepare as I did? Actually both interviews were recorded earlier. We did not differ on our call for standards of care, other that he wanted them only for MMJ and justified it by saying once it was there all docs would be held to the same standard. My point was to agree, but the proper place would be the public health code, so we KNEW it would apply to all docs without trying to crack open the MMMA.

It was very interesting that he claimed he did participate in the program by allowing ONE of his very long term patients to go to a certification clinic. It really drove home my point about the non-participation of physicians and the need for specialists like me that do this.

There is nothing wrong with standards, they will not affect me as they are already in place. They will just get rid of the three major mills that bleed off patients to no record/no doctor clinics. If cannabis specialty clinics that meet the standards exist. If they take out all specialty clinics to get the 3 bad apples and half a dozen small mills but take out to good ones as well we are all in trouble. Well not me, I'll just go back to primary care/pain management that is 420 friendly. I'm doing that anyhow.

We need to show Bill S. & the Govenor that we are targeting them for non-re-election at the Sept. 1th rally in Lansing. Maybe signs calling for their replacement for failing to enact the will of the people. We need to let them know this is still America, and that "By the People" still means something. If we lose this, what right will they take away next?
