mike44
6.3 to 6.8 should work well in soil. that is the range I use. General Organics PH is way too low without adjustment, it runs about 4.5 with my city water which is usualy around 7.6 to 7.8 The grow & bloom are very acid. I think from the sound of it, if your runoff was 7, and you added lime you raised the ph even more. It sounds to me like your ph is to high. Try and get your runoff to around 6.3 to 6.5 and you should be ok. Edited October 30, 2011 by mike44

mibrains
they may be stressing just a little from the transition. the nutes clash when used together, i noticed when i switched from fox farms to general hydroponics floranova series i had a period of plant stress. now i just switched over to general organics line yesterday.... i like fox farms only their mixtures are so specific to each week, i found myself dreading the feed days because of mixing up 12 different batches of food for each plant group in different weeks of growth. really hard to argue with fox farms results though... some of my best meds have come from their nutes. i am anxious to see how general organics lineup goes. kruztydj
foxframs just a pain in the backside. Way to pricey. I went to maxigro/mazibloom and cool bloom. That and bio marine for extra N.

You should have real good luck with this line. I use the nutes every watering, and I rotate between with the light feeding amount & the heavy feeding amount listed on the bottles. Light then heavy then light then heavy etc. I found that using the light schedule every time can cause the plants to not get enough nutes, especially during rapid growth & flowering. mike44
way to much lime. With that stuff ya shouldn't add any. Thats your issue wit high ph I'm thinking that when you were using the General organics, the high acidity of the nutes were being corrected by the lime. I would suspect what you are using now is no where near as acid, so your ph is going too high. I have to use a ton of ph up with general organics, but if I used lime it would do the same thing.
