Purplehaze
Generally speaking, from seedling most go 30 days or so, I like at least 60 days before they GO to flower then flower is generally speaking for Indica 8-9 weeks. Hope this gives some timeline
LongHairBri
I'd top it to promote bushing. I'd cut the light to 18/6. I'd start feeding full strenght nutes. I'd send the longhair a sample after harvest!!
Shredder
i have 12 inca plants that i planted from seed 15 days ago. i have them in soil. under a 400w lite. lites on 24/7 now. as a general rule, how long should it take them to flower? i have them in 3 gal pots. All Ladies, if that makes a difference? Pain, a 400W light is not enough light to flower 12 plants. 4-6 maybe if they are small plants. The foot print of a 400W light is fairly small and the higher you raise the light, to light up more plants, the less light each receive. I would stay in the area of 3ft to 4ft or 9-16 sq ft irregardless of the plant numbers. Heck Tarzan uses one 400W per plant. Most of the growers i have run into do not flower 12 at once, and for smoother farming, have half in veg, so when flowering is done, you have more on deck to go into flowering. This means two areas and two lights, but a veg light does not have to break the bank, a lot of us use CFL lights for veg and they work well for veg. And it has been shown lately that plants in veg do better with a dark period, most use 18/6 or 20/4....best of luck.....shredder
tooldini
Shredder is right but I have grown a few of mine with 24hr veg and they did just fine. It was when I flowered I had some issues with heat LOL I have 2 plants in veg right now and have my 198w Power Compact light on 24hr to try and keep them warm not working so good cause this light puts out virtually NO heat. Still they are doing pretty good. Generally I think most do use 18/6 or 20/4 good luck man its gonna be fun

I recommend general organics line or general hydroponics line, but there are many fertilizer lines that are very good. you will get many opinions on this, but you just need to choose one you like and can afford.
