Here are some excerpts from their drafts they want to push through on November 28th 2011 at the Fruitport Township Board Meeting:

 

* 1,000 foot radius from any school, day care facility, parks and churches. Must pay a professional surveyor to survey your property and all other surrunding propertys to confirm.

 

*Not more than one caregiver permitted per dwelling. Only that caregiver is allowed in the grow room. No patients or anyone else in the grow room.

 

* 24 Hour surviellance cameras to be fixed in the home.

 

* No one under the age of 18 allowed in the home.

 

* Provide an entire floor plan and use to the Township.

 

* Operation hours will be between 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and anyone from the Township may inspect your premise during those times.

 

* Must get mechanical, electrical,plumbing permits and have the premises approved by the building inspector. Have a representitive from the fire department verify all materials for fire hazards.

 

* Shall not use alcohol on the premises.

 

* No one can consume marijuana on the premise besides the caregiver.

 

*Licenses by the township are good for one year. A fee will need to be resolved.

 

 

 

Below is a copy of the Fruitport Township meeting minutes in Muskegon County. They will be making a final action on Nov 28th 2011. This will affect all patient growers and caregivers residing in Fruitport, MI. Please attend. And also please reply to this thread with suggestions and ideas!!!!!! I have full copies if interested.

NEW BUSINESS

 

11-113 First Reading—Medical Marihuana Home Occupation Ordinance

 

On October 18, 2011, Fruitport Township Planning Commission made a recommendation concerning an ordinance which will amend the zoning ordinance of the Charter Township of Fruitport, by adding a new Chapter 24 entitled Medical Marihuana Home Occupations; to provide for the licensing and regulation of medical marihuana home occupations; to address the negative secondary effects associated with medical marihuana home occupations by providing for additional miscellaneous regulations; and to allow inspections.

 

This constitutes the first reading. Final action will be taken at the November 28, 2011, board meeting.

 

 

 

11-114 First Reading—Zoning Text Amendment Ordinance concerning Medical Marihuana

 

On October 18, 2011, Fruitport Township Planning Commission made a recommendation to amend the zoning ordinance of the Charter Township of Fruitport by adding Section 42-607 concerning Medical Marihuana.

 

This constitutes the first reading. Final action will be taken at the November 28 2011, board meeting.
