Maples in my area have had tar spot fungus for 7 or 8 years now. Some of those pictues posted above look like tar spot. Obviously this was well before fukashima.

i think the hypothesis is that the radioactivity has increased the growth rate of various fungi.

Of course trace amounts have hit Michigan. The granite in Grand Central Station in New York also has trace radioactivity. Not only has a link between this radioactivity (which was SEVERELY over reported on the graph as we are not all dead of radioactivity poisoning) and increase fungi growth been proven, they haven't even proven there is an increase in fungi growth.

 

How long has black mold been found in homes? How long has mold been found in tree trunks or dead plant material. Just because you take a picture of mold doesn't mean that the growth is either abnormal or increased.

There are thousands of reasons why the medicinal use of the cannabis plant, should never have been restricted in the first place. But now with the menace that all this escaping radiation presents, we would have to be insane to turn our backs on the use of hemp extracts to help us all deal with this situation. I truly feel sorry for the misery the people of Japan are now going through and if nothing can be done to stop the radiation from escaping, they may loose their homeland entirely. Don’t be fooled by government double talk, radiation is an invisible but dangerous threat to the well being of us all and only a complete fool would try to say otherwise. The wondrous medicinal effects of properly produced oil from the cannabis hemp plant are finally being recognized once more worldwide. This is just one more reason, we must begin to start growing this plant on a grand scale and it is time that we all told our governments that we have had enough of their nonsense. Our very lives and the lives of coming generations, plus the well being of many other species are at stake and its now up to us, to determine what future mankind is to have.

Fukushima Fallout? - My Experience

The two year anniversary of Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster is March 11, 2013.

Over the past two years there have been many reports and articles, from credible scientific organizations, reporting on how the radiation fallout from this disaster has spread across the world via the air and water, including much that has covered large parts of the United States. I did some research on this and found the following.

Two of the main ingredients of radiation fallout are Cesium and Cadmium. Cesium from this disaster has been found in milk and produce produced in the United States. Radioactive isotopes of Cesium may be released into the air by nuclear power plants and during nuclear accidents and nuclear weapons testing. Cesium in air can travel long distances before settling on earth.

The amount of Cesium in foods and drinks depends upon the emission of radioactive Cesium through nuclear power plants, mainly through accidents. A person can experience cell damage due to radiation of the Cesium particles. Due to this, effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and bleeding may occur. When the exposure lasts a long time people may experience serious illness and sometimes death. How serious the effects are depends upon the resistance of individual persons and the duration of exposure and the concentration a person is exposed to.

In June of 2012, I participated in a 24 Hour Urine Test which is intended primarily for diagnostic assessment of toxic elements in the body. The reason I participated in this test was to determine the level of Mercury in my body; I had read a lot about the possible negative effects on one’s health due to the Mercury in dental fillings.

My Mercury level was Within Reference at about the middle of this reference range. (Reference intervals are representative of a healthy population.) I was Outside Reference in Gadolinium and Thallium; so I did some research on them. The high level of Gadolinium was the result of several MRI’s I have had over the years for various reasons; the high level of Thallium was the result of Thallium Stress Tests I have participated in over the years because of several heart issues I have encountered.

Surprisingly, my Cesium and Cadmium were at the higher and mid-range, respectively, of the Within Reference Range of the results. (Reference intervals are representative of a healthy population.) I did some research on both of these toxic elements and discovered what is shown above.

On June 22, 2012, my physician had me begin an oral form of Chelation therapy to reduce these toxic elements in my body. Chelation therapy is the administration of chelating agents to remove heavy metals from the body. Chelation therapy has a long history of use in clinical toxicology.

On February 6, 2013, I participated in another 24 Hour Urine Test. My Mercury level was reduced by 50%; my Thallium was also reduced by 50%. My Gadolinium level, which is effected by MRI’s, was higher; I had an MRI on my hand and wrist in December, 2012 because of a mountain bike accident; which resulted in this higher reading.

The toxic elements that are in Nuclear Fallout both increased; Cesium increased 59%; the Cadmium level doubled. Both are now in the Outside Reference. (Reference intervals are representative of a healthy population.) These increases are very surprising, especially considering that the Chelation therapy is supposed to reduce toxic elements, like it did with the Mercury and Thallium. Instead of the Cesium and Cadmium reducing, they dramatically increased during the period of 15 to 23 months after Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster. I am not experiencing any of the reported negative effects of these two toxic elements, but the significant increases of these levels, during the period of 15 to 23 months after Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster, are a concern to me personally and globally.

Peanutbutter how is your geigercounter working?  Any advice for someone looking to mointor their radiation intake? 

 

I can tell you that i believe we are being bombarded heavily with radiation.  Most items we eat have been contaminated.  It's no wonder our government and the rich elites are building massive underground shelters.

Advise about geiger counters? Buy a new one. Don't get a used one.

 

It's not radiation that needs to be watched out for. Rather it's the radioactive particles.

 

One single particle can come to rest in the lung. That easily becomes a starting point for a cancer. In spite of the particle being present, it is to small to be detected.

 

Basically any meter would say you are not radioactive. Yet the particle would still be there. It's to small to be detected yet able to do damage.

Obama Approves Raising Permissible Levels of Nuclear Radiation in Drinking Water. Civilian Cancer Deaths Expected to Skyrocket

The White House has given final approval for dramatically raising permissible radioactive levels in drinking water and soil following “radiological incidents,” such as nuclear power-plant accidents and dirty bombs. The final version, slated for Federal Register publication as soon as today, is a win for the nuclear industry which seeks what its proponents call a “new normal” for radiation exposure among the U.S population, according Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER).

 

Issued by the Environmental Protection Agency, the radiation guides (called Protective Action Guides or PAGs) allow cleanup many times more lax than anything EPA has ever before accepted. These guides govern evacuations, shelter-in-place orders, food restrictions and other actions following a wide range of “radiological emergencies.” The Obama administration blocked a version of these PAGs from going into effect during its first days in office. The version given approval late last Friday is substantially similar to those proposed under Bush but duck some of the most controversial aspects:
