Mr&MrsPurplekush
In the federal govt.'s continued plague to eradicate patient rights anyway they can, have began(as far as i know) attacking federal housing/public housing(section 8). The program has sent letters out to remind those participating that even if you have a medical marijuana card you are in violation of federal law and therefor are commiting fraud by using the housing and participating in the medical marijuana program. Hilarious enough i know people on section 8 who go to the methadone clinic twice a week and are strung out all day on it, but that is ok? Robman
Just to let you know, not everyone who goes to a methadone clinic gets strung out on it all day, there are a fair share that go to replace and use with there drug of choice but there are the ones that go to get help getting off the drug they are addicted too, im just posting this b/c i dont think this is the place to be bashing people that go to a methadone clinic. Thanks

Thanks I apologize if you got offended, but i said "i know people that..." i did not say "everyone who takes methadone is strung out on it" so i would suggest lightening up and realize this was an opinion attacking the federal govt., not attacking people who are sick. bobandtorey
attacking the feds housing is not new it's just people that don't come here don't know that theirs people out here that are hunt by this all the time and by hospitals also if you have a card don't tell know one this site use to have a lot more people that do care some are still here most are gone
Robman
i took it the wrong way because the way you used, " oh i know some strung out methadone addicts that are left alone, thats moo poo" and i dont think you are anyone who should be suggesting me to do anything

Estimated Prophet
I don't understand. What action are they suggesting constitutes fraud? Do tennents lose their eligibility if they break federal law?
Mr&MrsPurplekush
I don't understand. What action are they suggesting constitutes fraud? Do tennents lose their eligibility if they break federal law? i think so... here is what the revised statement says concerning "illegal Activity" "Not engage nor allow any member of your household or guest to engage in a drug-related criminal activity or violent criminal activity, wether in your residential unit or anywhere else. NOTE: UNDER FEDERAL LAW, THE USE AND/OR POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA IS CONSIDERED A DRUG-RELATED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY, EVEN IF YOU POSSESS A MEDICAL MARIJUANA CARD OR ARE OTHERWISE AUTHORIZED UNDER STATE LAW TO USE AND POSSESS MARIJUANA." somewhere else in the programs rules it says that by using the program and breaking any rules you are frauding the program. stupidly enough, if you are not abusing the medical marijuana program and following those rules you are not commiting any CRIMINAL activity, criminal means someone who commits crimes, theses people have been told by the state and at earlier times by the president that if the rules were followed, you are not having anything more to do with drugs than people who get to fuel big pharma's pockets with prescription refills.why are not more people as tired as I am of people having to hide and be afraid of something they were givin permission to do, this country is waging war on its own citizens, what will the 1% do when weve had enough, this is not thier country, it is thier business and we are all pawns to thier profits. when will more people wake up from this fake comfort that has been provided to us by them and say ENOUGH! as long as we do not hurt another we will do what we please! Mr&MrsPurplekush
i think we should retreat am sorry but thats what i think especially considering obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act new years eve when no one was paying attention...so they can lock anyone up, for any reason, for any amount of time...(or something closely as scary as that)
