Ummm this all started with Runco trying to open a dispensary, interesting to say the least.

One good thing is they were short sighted depending on whether or not a two care givers can share the same address for growing.

If two caregivers can not use the same address to cultivate their plants then the ordinance is in violation of state law. Would be a civil liberties question.

And possibly a law suit that could cost the city millions, something Lincoln Park would not want to deal with in a court.

Esp when they would have to go to Detroit or else where to answer the charges.

Over all the city is obviously against dispensaries.

 

While we await the current courts rulings on several cases and the disposition of proposed amendments,

I think it is best to continue to stay below the radar and gather enough info to attack this unreasonable ordinance.

Until our law is properly implemented we can only wait and prepare. We have a new mayor and some new new counsel members so half of the battle may already be won.

All depends on their point of view and personal convictions.

Possibly, only a check of Lincoln Park's tax records would shine light on the truth of that.

Tax records will state owners name, mailing address any tax due.

 

A little research seems to confirm your thoughts.
