Who We Gonna Call?

When we get held up by law enforcement, who do we complain to?

Say a couple of "officers," No .. these officials have earned the title of "pigs."

Say a couple of "pigs" gain a taste for free pothead money.

They look for potheads to rob, knowing they can never complain.

Who do we complain to? Are we safe when we complain? Will action be taken against the "pigs?"

When can we expect all pigs to be fired?

PB,

That IS a tough one -- usually one would say the Feds.....unsure if that holds true now.

But the best bet is to have proof so clear and incontrovertible (video), that no one can deny what they are seeing. Beware some Gov. people try to say it is illegal, Sullivan v Gray is the key case.....

Sooooo, Recording surreptitiously is something needed as video is or can be devastating --- it should be something everyone invests in, a pen cam in your pocket is nice to have......

Available at a moments notice and the push of a button...

In a fixed location a pinhole camera is good insurance, they are cheap and available --- but do not get the cheapest as they are worthless,

A good pin hole camera could be OUR best friend with the feed ging to qik (or qik on your smart phone so if they find it the video is safe and password protected on the net........use them, check them, practice with them...MAKE SURE THEY WILL WORK WHEN AND IF NEEDED.....as only when you get it on video will the hammer come down.....otherwise we keep doing what we have been, oppose them, be vocal and keep at it....VOTE IS IMPORTANT AS IS BUILDING AN ORGANIZATION TO GATHER VOTERS LIKE US....just keep the faith and keep doing it !!

Our Brothers and Sisters in CALI have been doing it for 16 years...

We have only just begun in Michigan !.

hey PB I heard an ad on the radio that said if you know of someone being abused child or adult call the DHS to report there is a hot line 800 number and report it anonymously if you want, and I was thinking we should all call this number and report of the abuses going around state wide I mean slam their phone lines and maybe, just maybe someone at DHS would get a clue we are being abused.

any patient that pulls a mmj card on a police officer is going to be labeled under suicide by cop " or maybe try to hold on to your child, that will get you shot as well!! We have such good police.. murder first.. murder second. <<<< LEO mentality

I forgot to add, get this, the correct person to report them too is .... guess who.. our lovely Attorney General..

Remember MAHATMA GANDHI, Gandhi he was a man of peace that set the world on it's ear.

Advocating violence is ammunition for BS and his followers!

Let us take the higher ground and not lend credence to his position.

He seeks justification for his opposition to our cause and will lie whenever or wherever necessary. To justify his actions or the actions of others.

Let us " be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves" In so doing we cast a brighter light which no evil can hide from.

I do like the ideal of a witness group being called in to document the illegal actions of law enforcement though.

Ding ding ding .. we have a winner!!

Now, perhaps, that is a problem our lawmakers can address.

These are law abiding citizens that are not protected by police.

Why?

And how do we get it to stop?

Most officers are our friends. A few are thieves. These thieves have been overlooked because the thieves are brother officers. In the past.

There are many officers that have watched the armed robbery by boys in blue for years .. perhaps decades .. and said nothing.

These events have been excused, in the minds of many, by the belief that the persons being robbed were criminals. That made it OK to take stuff from them. Drugs .. cash .. cars .. houses .. Sometimes official sometimes just a pure snatch and grab.

Those that were victims of a pure snatch and grab, in the past, were considered lucky. If the police were keeping it all for themselves, there would be no arrest.

We now have a segment of those victims that are now supposed to be left alone. That would be the medical marijuana patient and caregiver. It is crystal clear .. distinct .. that the activity of taking the things of the patient or caregiver is forbidden.

The police are forbidden .. the police are forbidden .. from conducting armed robbery of patients and caregivers.

So then .. any official that acts to support the failure to protect patients should be subject to a felony.

Officers willfully ignoring this law should be guilty of felonies.

YOU CAN MAKE A COMPLAINT TO A POLICE OFFICER'S DEPARTMENT OR SUPERIOR -- SO THAT IS WHO YOU WRITE (THESE ARE NEVER DONE BY PHONE).

ALSO THE FEDERAL ATTY. OR FBI ALSO TAKES COMPLAINTS OF LOCAL, SHERIFF, AND OTHER OFFICERS WHO ARE CORRUPT OR USING THEIR POWER TO ABUSE.

I post this as most people do NOT know they can make a complaint against an Officer (Sheriff, MSP, or Local) that treats you wrong, or does something wrong or criminal -- and this is in addition to or in lieu of a suit or complaint.

You can file a Complaint with their Department. These should be well written and in writing, spell-checked -- as it WILL start an investigation at the least.

Sending it by certified mail is a good idea and keep copies of everything.

Having video ready to go on at a moment is a good idea -- qik.com is a great program for smart phones but set it up first, practice with it as in a stressful

situation if it is more than pushing the "record" button it probably will not work -- and qik.com puts in on the cloud so if they get the phone it does not matter

but make sure you set good passwords....

You can also complain about cases where charges were issued, and fight it in Court to0 --- fight them every step of the way is what I say -- but even then if you file a complaint based upon the interaction you had with the Officer, it is something the Dept. will investigate -- you should at a minimum have someone with expereince look at it first as making frivolous complaints is not a good idea -- but I do not want to make it seem like you cannot as you can -- complain away.

Many People do not know a Complaint can be made to an Officer's Department.

So if your treated bad and it does NOT or does result in Charges, you still can file a written complaint with the Department (If it is Sheriff, send it to the

Sheriff's Dept. ATTN: Sheriff or Internal Affairs, MSP, send it to MSP Director, for Local, Send it to the Local Chief of Police). Make sure if charges are pending you

check with your lawyer FIRST as you would not want to do something that makes matters worse for you.

Be forewarned the Offier you complain of might attempt to look for you, or retaliate against you but this would be a crime and make matters worse for them (and complain about that too). THESE PEOPLE WORK FOR US AND THEY SHOULD BE HELD TO A HIGH STANDARD.

So be careful and don't do it for petty things -- but if they do something wrong complain in writing -- complaints to their superiors might get a bad apple off the streets and save someone else's life as the squeaky wheel gets the oil -- many Cops should not be cops ( and those bad appeals in Police Depts. often get away with many many wrongs before and if they ever get caught). Complaints should be done quickly after the incident and if you have proof, that even is better -- video and audio recordings are Great,

Sending a copy of a complaint about a bad cop to the local Newspaper is another means to complain *(but your putting yourself in the public eye).

Finally, for violations of Fed. Law, you can complain to the US Atty. or the FBI -- and all the above applies, make sure you check with Counsel first if your pending some charge, but if not go ahead, we need to get bad cops off the streets.
