Todays Video Recording For Those That Missed It 03/29/12

Recommended Posts

This is just a recommendation folks. These changes now go on to the house floor where all YOUR reps will be in on this. They need 75% of the house to vote on passing these amendments. These same reps you voted into office? Remember them? This is where you call your rep. and tell them what YOU want. Make them honor your wishes or explain how you will work against any further political aspiration that they may have. Election coming up fast. This is where WE win! That commitee was shanking us no matter. Now is the real fight! This is no longer committee, we can deal with all the reps as they will all decide our future. Go out and make a difference or get run over like a dog in the road!

4853 a couple of the ladies voted yes with Oakes being one of them.

First Oakes passed on the amendment, then voted to send it to a floor vote. I don't understand why someone would vote Y/N or N/Y, but either way her single vote wouldn't have changed the outcome--given the Repub majority. The votes were pretty much along party lines except for the following Dems voting for the 4 bills: Meadows, Constan, Cavanagh. Olumba wasn't present.

Throughout the hearings and the voting, 3 reps have earned a thank you note IMO: Irwin, Erwin-Oakes, and Brown.

I was listening really close and for me yep they stood out as our supporters big time. You are right they deserve a huge pat on the back.

I guess given the Repub majority, some of those 4 Dems might think their vote didn't count today. Hopefully they and others will be persuaded by our lobbying to change their mind before the floor vote (and the election). If they are your rep, please contact them before the floor vote!
