Anyone Found Updated Bills.

ozzrock,

4834 Amend H_4

and

4851 Amend H_7

4856 substitute 1

4854 sub 1

SB 3077 as introduced

try

http://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2011-2012/billintroduced/Senate/pdf/2011-SIB-0377.pdf

as I could not get the PDF to download a minute ago....

And

SB0974

THEY ARE ALL BAD....need everyone to call their Sen/Reps and voice their displeasure with these (as it will gut MMA, and vioate the People's Instructions by vote (and they will make police able to dig around the Registry with all it's medical info)...

Probably violates HIPPA as it is personally identifable medical information (but it seems out Sen/Reps do not care about our medical privacy).

Hope the PDFs make it through the servers OK,

Has anyone found a copy of the updated bills as voted out of committee? Not the summary but the actual wording.

If you have a link I would greatly appreciate it.

I do believe it only applies to felony versions and only applies to caregivers.

Damaging none the less.

Wow this scares me. Why is this really necessary and why is it the bills did not contain all this info when the community was able to speak about it?

The department shall issue registry identification cards

within 5 days of approving an application or renewal, which shall

expire 1 year after the date of issuance. WITHIN 48 HOURS AFTER

ISSUING A REGISTRY IDENTIFICATION CARD, THE DEPARTMENT SHALL

FORWARD INFORMATION CONCERNING ISSUANCE OF THE CARD TO THE

DEPARTMENT OF STATE POLICE. THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE POLICE SHALL

MAKE THE INFORMATION CONCERNING REGISTRY IDENTIFICATION CARDS

AVAILABLE TO STATE AND LOCAL POLICE OFFICERS IN A FORM THAT ALLOWS

IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO INFORMATION NECESSARY TO DETERMINE WHETHER AN

INDIVIDUAL IN CUSTODY FOR POSSESSION OR DISTRIBUTION OF MARIHUANA

POSSESSION IS A QUALIFYING PATIENT OR PRIMARY CAREGIVER.

BTW I'm not yelling this is the way it was written in black.

So did they take out the part in H.B. 4851?

(2) The physician has treated or consulted with the patient

with respect to the patient's debilitating medical condition for a

reason other than the patient's application or intended application

for a registry identification card and has maintained records of

the patient's condition in accord with medically accepted

standards.

Please read these bills and comment on them to your legislator in a letter or a phone call. The House floor vote is coming up the 17th, so we have a limited amount of time to directly, reasonably voice our concerns. A flood of letters to the House of Representatives right now will make a difference. Let's do it.
