Spinner Growers

Hello all.

I hope i am posting this in the correct category. Does anyone have any experience growing with spinner growers? A friend of mine swears up and down that they are great, but he is the only one i know that uses one for his meds. All answers and advice would be greatly appreciated.

i know a grizzled veteran grower who no longer uses the spinners--but he used to. He has six of them stored, shiny aluminum monsters;.They are custom made big ones, 6 foot diameter. Intended for dozens of plants in one set-up.. They've sat there for 2 years gathering dust. He was a big grower but his health won't take the labor anymore, doesn't matter--he made, and kept, his money..
