I have many in-line fans. As far as quality and quite Sun Leaves Wind tunnel is very quite. Not the cheapest. The metal housing are definitely louder. I do not have a Can to compare the differences. But... I'm all over this subject as well we CG's have too many of these not to get input from everyone. Quality and performance is everything!

I like the Sunleaves Wind Tunnel. Quiet and lightweight. I was worried about the plastic, but it's thicker than I expected. Have 3 running 24/7. No problems so far.

on another note, i used active air 8 in model for a while.it worked fine for 2-3 lights in a row as long as you didnt need to duct very far.

don't go for the cheapest fan. Get the can fan. Top quality and TRUE cfm's.
