I have lights bulbs, air conditioner, can fans, fans and other growing supplies plus a 91 pontiac firebird Craigslist Grand Rapids. I cannot do it anymore. Medical Marijuana gave my life back and stole it financially, and beat me down in court. I am facing prosecution in kent county. It would seem had the Lawyers I paid initially would have done their jobs I would be free of this , instead the unwillingness to perform their duties have left me destitute and now facing a trial in Judge ( who says my poverty after this attack is not his problem) Court on May 29th Scheduled. I have been out of meds for a bit and why not just stop. I really received astonishing results from marijuana, but the stress is aggravating my Mental Illnesses ( PTSD ), and My Hep C as well as numerous other ailments. I have a daughter that has cerebral palsy and now scoliosis.I have been able to care for her better when marijuana is a pain relief afterwards, so I gave away free meds to my patients and only asked they help me pay the costs of growing, anything else to me seemed cruel. I now have no options. Friends gone, afraid to help and every body out to get above the other. It seems that other entities are taking over. So thanks for the couple years of medicating, but this is a farce. Folks here seem to be clicking up and shutting at least this severely, let's face it "Terminally ill person out. MUCH RESPECT for those that are truly compassionate folks and those that are fighting for the sick. I praise you and Know that Karma will Prevail. These adversaries are using Mobb like Tactics by threatening families and Liberty. Wow. I guess that's it. Hope everyone has better luck in the future. I am just a hostage for using and helping my patients obtain medicinal marijuana. (NO ONE CARES) Type Patients say marijuana gave their lives back in Mlive if you want to know me. Thanks

I am so sorry to hear of your misfortune. it is terribly unfair that the state can punish so severely just by the accusations, the arrest, and the prosecution process. Minor compliance issues are being held up as examples and punished way beyond reason. If the law is so confusing to these prosecutors why can't these test cases have suspended sentences for defendants as this 'clarity' is added by the courts?

 

How have our state prosecutors become so addicted to winning at all costs? They seem to get so much pleasure from winning. Any thought of the destruction to the defendant's future, children, and marriage is somehow completely justified in their mind. What is the reward system for prosecutors? It seems horribly out of whack.

They do it so when they run for public office they can make the claim of being "tough on crime." Politically motivated DAs are pure evil and are destroying lives and families for personal gain.

The damage to the patients by the fear of not knowing what is accepted as legal has been horrendous as well . Most of us clearly see and believe the act has not been interpreted or implemented properly due to discrimination in Law Enforcement and the Courts by those who opposed the Act in 2008 . Many of us are so weak and truly depend on our own devised medical routines . We can not afford conflict and when we call to ask about rules we are met with anger and often become targets . The same occurs when we try to preform our civic duty and be part of the legislative and political process . I hope as a whole we never give up regardless .Where is our legislature they could atleast make a statement in support of cannabis having medical use the voters recognized .We are just patients trying to gain some sanity often where prior treatments were lacking and suffering is horrendous .

 

I am sorry for your difficulties . Knowing cannabis has a real chance to help you just makes everything more frustrating . Most of the opposition doesn't even know the American Medical Association was against cannabis prohibition for medical use back in 37 .

Most of us will be in similar situations if the 4 bill package passes the Senate. Repubs only need 2 Dems to join and a MMMP card will become a ticket to ruin and jail. Go see YOUR Senator and give them 2 minutes of facts re our medicine.

I feel for you i made the mistake of leaving my PC on this website my wife read of some of the horrible things being done to patients and caregivers i tried my best not to worry her but now that shes privy to what law enforcements doing to us she gave me an ultimatum which you can see in my signature currently quit working outside of who I'm registered with or quit growing altogether i guess i cant blame her .

sorry for being sarcastic too. In calming down I realized I had a small safe with a few grams of superskunk, nerves steady for now. I really have to refer to my preliminary and choice of counsel. Case would have been dismissed if and I quote. Judge. " i voted for this law and if i was more familiar with it or had a marijuana expert ,then i would dismiss the charges.(medical marijuana expert was paid, a lawyer, never showed.) Since no one is here in that light, i think the trier facta here is transportation , i again understand how hard it is to go through this but you can only do the best with what you got" to this very date no motion for affirmative defense has been filed no evidentiary hearings, no witness list and the other lawyer was allowed to quit on May 1st cause the second lawyer needed more money,circuit judge says my poverty after this attack is of no concern to him or to the court, then yelled, this trial is happening, on the 29th of May and told the prosecutor to call his witnesses and have them ready. lawyer if you are reading this, first lawyer, u can saddle the case or at least in good faith give half of the money back. that prevents me then having to write grievance to the bar, more legal bull.etc...Sorry, but plenty of people before and even after my incident got news exposure,seems as though they get a terminally ill person they are messing with and it is all hush hush(defame defame) hush, attack here here and here.

Thanks but I would need to sign a Caregiver again. DHS is holding kids over this bunny muffin too. Marijuana is substance abuse, police never lie about drug charges, moo poo. I have been holding together got my wife back. These cowards attacked my family and kids and it is of no concern. She knew of my job and that this was for adults from my gr press article and they knew as well. I testified to that at the judiciary hearings.. My family in_ laws or not, were an excuse to hide the truth. we know now, lets see if the judge allows dismissal.

Well... If they are prosecuting you... You must have been in violation of the law... So you necessarily deserve jail. Good for the rest of us anyway... We are safer now... And all such good citizens. (Irony off)

sorry, but smart phone suddenly boots me out and someone is editing here. Regardless, LARA says LEO cannot use card to investigate someone, wrong, they did and have since caused irreparable harm in some ways and opened my eyes to the actual greed motivating some and others exhibiting astounding compassion, and I feel anyone asking so many questions should FOIA any and all details of my case. Come to court ,look up schedule. I have already said I found meds locked away in a safe where they will always be. As I have read about and learned through all of this is the blatant disregard for human beings in the dismissal of someone in my position. A. I would never grow meds at my home unless allowed by state law. Police and anyone that got the Grand Rapids Press in 2009 December 20, or watched Wzzm news 2010 March 10 knew I was a patient.( Though pictures on id doesn't make you a target,beg to differ).B. I committed no crimes , well if Compassion is a crime. C. I have never in a million years would believe advocates for Medical Relief from Cannabis could be so callous and disrespectful. Fill court rooms,not here, just been my wife and friend. I have no parents they have been deceased for many years. I have family helping protect my children. By the way I was told by LEO, on the side of the road at the time if I had even mentioned it they would ruin my family... You pride yourselves as being advocates (some of you here definitely are not) then bless your hearts. All of you sheep, good luck there is a place for you I am sure after this life. Thank You.

well they are try to prosecuting us and we were legal all the way
