Just put rusty metal in a bucket of water and let it soak and occasionally stir for 24 hours, or more, until the water is all rusty brown. When the next watering is due, pour the rusty brown water right onto the soil. Within hours you willl see the tops turn dark green, and over the next week i(f you continue to water with rusty water) you will find that the whole plant greens up (except for some of the oldest yellow leaves which will fall off). Once the plants are dark green top to bottom go back to your usual watering. Hope this helps dirt growers.
