Aeroponic Cloning....clear Jets....more Important Than Nutes

Recommended Posts

I have been using an aeroponic cloner with varied success. I started with using a cloning nutrient...... and being afraid to just use ph neutral water.....

The nutrient caused a black film which eventually clogged my jets which started to impact the speed and success rate.

Cleaned pump and jets real well...and went without clone nutrient..... sucess rate and speed back and no clogged jets.....

Extra nutrients with an aero cloner are unnecessary and counter productive.

I am just loosely adjusting for ph with a bit of lemon juice

Well water ph'd to 5.7

no addititives 95% success rate ez cloner

Key: water temp around 75 f

Air temp lower than 75 f

Hope this helps

I only use pure tap water as well.

I just wanted to add a key of success, use a fully dried out neoprene every time you add a new clipping

thats the # 1 issue I see with people having problems

a waterlogged neoprene will waterlog the stem and cause it to rot

Neoprenes can be cleaned in a wash machine with a little bleach added to the water, makes it convenient if you put the neoprenes in a mesh bag, otherwise they swim on top.
