legacy
If anyone wants to help our cause on election day, but isn't yet registered to vote, please don't wait til it's too late. .. less than a month left. Register asap! You can register at your city clerk's office or at the Secretary of State. This is not just for the activists, but also for all the people who want to help, but don't want to be seen at rallies or protests, or people who don't want to share their address with their reps. It's totally anonymous. Remember the House hearings... we can't afford to risk having more reps like Horn or Walsh, especially when they're talking about completely gutting the law after the election. Timmahh
Make SURE you are Registered to Vote, and PLEASE For fks sake, EDUCATE YOURSELF ABOUT WHO and WHAT you are VOTING FOR...... These are 2 of the MOST Important Duties you have as a Citizen of this Great State. Take it Seriously.

legacy
is there a mmj voters guide? e.g. who is for the cause, who isnt? I'm working on a compilation. For now, you can search candidates you're interested in using this site's search tool. I too would love to see such a compilation. What I do know is this. Friend to us: Rep. Lisa Brown. (I love this woman) Rep. Jeff Irwin Rep.Stacey Oakes Foes: Heisee Walsh Cavanaugh and just about every other rep. Oakes voted for the 4 bills including hb 4834. Brown wasn't as bad, she only voted for 4851 and 4853. http://michiganmedicalmarijuana.org/topic/40866-marijuana-bills-on-mi-senate/#entry401705

legacy
Only 1 week left! If you live in Michigan's 1st district (northern LP or UP), Dan Benishek is a friend of ours and is in the only really close race for US Rep. Normally I wouldn't vote Repub but when only 50% of our members of Congress support mmj, I'll definitely vote for a known friend over a 50/50. http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2012/roll238.xml http://michiganmedicalmarijuana.org/topic/34827-a-letter-from-dan-benishek/

Both the democratic and republican candidate support medical marijuana. :-) So as far as this issue goes, vote for either. Yay. I call that progress. And thanks legacy for your postings. legacy
That's great news Malamute. I wish it were even half that good in my district. Do you know of any mmj votes or articles published on the internet about Gary McDowell? I would like to include him in my voter guide. +Malamute
Hmm, i do not have anything on paper actually. I am in contact with his campaign staff weekly though, so i will see if i can get an official statement for you. But yea,... when both your candidates support MMj, we win.
