A Fine For Possession Of Marijuana In Grand Rapids?

Former mayor, current mayor and majority of city counsel say yes to possession being a civil infraction($100) fine, yet selling it still a crime, police chief does not support it(big suprise)lol. He thinks it will bring more intoxicated drivers and accidents and deaths(typical rightwing extremist view) proposal 2 language is approved by majority though.
