Question About The Ypsilanti Reform....

That marijuana to be lowest level of law enforcement.

What exactly does this impact mean? Will a phone call from a neighbor, suspecting marijuana(grown, smoked, etc..) be ignored? I know im probably using a exaggerated example with the grow, but im curiouos as a ypsilanti resident and patient.

The local ballot measure reads:

 

Shall the Ypsilanti City Charter be amended such that the use and/or consumption of one ounce or less of usable marijuana by adults 21 years or older is the lowest priority of law enforcement personnel?

 

It doesn't decriminalize at the local level at all. It simply makes it low priority for the city. That doesn't stop the county sheriff's dept or state police from doing their thing. Tread cautiously.
