Attempted Robbery Of Medical Marijuana Reported In Lansing

LANSING — A 44-year-old Lansing man who is a also a medical marijuana caregiver told police two men with guns entered his home early this morning and attempted to rob him.

 

Police were called at about 1 a.m. today to the man’s house, located in the 1200 block of Otto Street, just north of Grand River Avenue, said Lansing police Public Information Officer Robert Merritt.

 

He told police someone knocked on his door, and two men stormed in with long guns when he answered.

 

They wanted his marijuana, but the man currently did not have any so the two suspects left, Merritt said.

 

Police attempted a dog track but were unsuccessful in locating the suspects.

The thieves grow brave in this age.

 

The growing ratio to violent thieves to cat burglars is a very real threat to all people marijuana growers to bankers and everyone in between
