Medical Marijuana Advocates Protest Prosecutor's Decision To Shut Down Jackson Dispensaries

Recommended Posts

There should have been equal time given by the reporter to some other Marihuana advocates to talk about how all these problems can be solved under the current system and how important it is to distinguish between people upset that their business has been shut down versus patients in need of help.

All this being said, the comments section under neath the original article has served this purpose well. It was very interesting to see how many people called this individual out for not being from Jackson, openly lying, and wanting nothing more than to continue his business. One post from their discussion...

(The Owner) operated a market that permitted unaffiliated people to buy and sell between themselves. Because of the court decision, his illegal cash cow is gone. Within the activist community he is largely regarded as a gadfly, and cannot be expected to approach the issues reasonably.

I would think someone so concerned about 10, 000 patients would be trying to organize Michigan's biggest CG/PT meet and greet, it could be historic. Even if you wanted to push for Dispensaries to re open, at least in the short term it would help to put patients first. Instead a rally is held in support of a business model.

But, it is legally compliant right? That is what everyone was told.

What we need to do is rebuild the compassion club model, we are already starting one in Clare and other communities will follow. First meeting the 16th at Hydro411
