It is my experience that the urge to have children has a core component that is almost to entirely irresistible. Hormones prevail in the lives of women, and gals please correct me if I'm wrong, more than in men. They can and do drive behavior, which we guys are politely reminded of along with moon phases. To short circuit that function, reinforced by millennia of evolution, is asking a lot. When ready to bear a child, their entire bodies and minds cry out to carry forth what some accurately describe as our only real purpose. I think there is nothing more beautiful.
