  If it comes down to it we can spin this into one of the benefits of the MMMA program.  Funding law enforcement and making communities safer.  I have serious doubt that the grants will be strictly for enforcing the MMMA or even enforcing the MMMA at all. Nothing really to enforce.

 

It's been a long time since I've done any grant writing. Are you suggesting we may be able to secure funding from the monies earmarked for enforcement? Ask your friends.

Can it be amended to include organizations that have an interest in cannabis education for patients and caregivers? It has not yet passed into law.

now would be a good time to contact LARA and let them know that the funds would be better spent on helping patients instead of paying for enforcement, which i'm guessing will only harass patients.

i would appreciate it if anyone who knows changes are coming down could post about them when they learn about it.

i dont like having to rely on google searches for marihuana site:mi.gov and marijuana site:michigan.gov to find out...

Those ARE the ways we typically find out about these things t-pain. Work is required to stay current. No one here has enough of an inside track to be everywhere and always up to speed with all the issues. That is the benefit of working with the community, and we are damm proud to have you.

Of course you can't that grant is meant to be used to HANG US...... And it looks like they realized they could use alot more money to do so......
