I am willing and able to donate my time to become an Activist in my surrounding area of Traverse City. Just needing some guidance on how to go about doing this,,

You already are an activist given that you are fighting the transport law.  Put your energy into that and when it is all over you can take on a new fight.

simple advocating:

write / call your represenatives and explain to them how medical marijuana helps and how they should support the 130k patients in michigan.

 

print off and distribute FIJA brochures!!

fija is the fully informed jury assoc. 

which means they teach potential jurors (e.g. you and me!) that a jury can vote not guilty if they want.

which is useful in marijuana prosecutions, because many people do not agree with them.

 

other ways you can help:

gather signatures for ballot measures
