Day 62 Flower, Am I Done Yet?

Man I sure am getting impatient.. I've been without for way to long, coming close to getting a couple vic's I'm hurting.

Anywhooooooooo... I thought 55 days Id be good.. newp.. I thought 60 days I'd be good, newp.. when am I done??????

I have been checking them everyday with a 60x scope, they all look mostly all cloudy, I think I still see some clears no Amber yet?

I have never made it to this point, so I'm in virgin territory. Really could use some help I've invested alot of time and money into these and want the best quality possible. Since I see a majority of cloudy trichs, shall I start flushing them?

I've just been running 6.5pH'd water no nuets last 3 watering s (every other day) but havent given them the full heavy flush due to the trichs.. which I really don't know much about, just going on what Ive been told. no first hand experience.

Well its been 2 months veg and now 2 months flower.. long time coming to see the results, hopefully you all give truthful honest feedback.. they are so pretty in person and big man huge nugs on these girls.

Here are some day 60 photo's again, I'm broke so I only have a 3 mg pixel cell phone camera to shoot pics with. enjoy

Here is plant #4 this is the one I chopped all the foliage off on day 12 or so of flower, the nugs are looking as big as the ones 15 days ahead of her.

Heres a group shot of the 4 plants together.

Why use a lighter to show the width, these babies are as wide as the tape measure ;)

Well I sure hope I end up with some quality meds, I worked my butt off to get to this point.. I just switched the HPS red spec bulb, back to the MH blue spec.. for what I hope is the last week or so.  so is it time to flush, am I close by the looks of the plants, what kind of yield should I be looking at so I can figure out how to donate them to stay under weight?

Thanks Trix

Like I said they look cloudy.... don't see any amber, still see a few but not many clear?

But again, I have no clue what I'm truly looking at, where to even look for the right results on the plant.. Ive watched videos, but. its way dif. when it comes to first hand experience.

Time to flush?

They look good for your first run. Id say you got 7-14 days so yah start flushing. They look to be around 4 oz plants but its hard to say. Ive never had plants aside from an afghani that had more than a few Amber trichs at harvest, for me they usually turn after being dried. When i did use the scope to look at them i cut them when the majority were cloudy and the mAjority of hairs were orange....now i just kinda know...lol. Def flush them next water.

yeah, there are barely any white hairs left. Just a few but for the most part all turned orange.

They are ready to be watered right now, I gave them all 1 gal of phd water about a hour ago I could flush them tonight ehh?

do I pH the water I'm flushing them with? say 5 gal of 6.5 water? or does it matter?

There are alot of video's on you tube that will show you when to pick and what to look for, but as on here you will see a few different opinions, I like to use you tube to learn dif tinctures and medibles, I have been making oil for a long long time so Im just sticking with the way ive been doing it, I just like to make easier ways to give people a choice to eat it or smoke it w/o having to do anything after they get it from me, check it out, search and you will find on youtube!

Peace

you got some long finger looking leaves. looks like more sativa genes in the plant.

sativas can take wayyyy longer than indicas.

sativa- Once flowering has begun, they can take anywhere from 10 to 16 weeks to fully mature.

indica - After flowering starts they will be mature in 6 to 8 weeks.

like others say, take the small popcorn and use that for now.

if you harvest now its ok, but the effects will be much more if you let it finish further.

did you try lowering the light to 11 hours yet? or still on 12/12 ?

and watch that humidity! stupid cold temps + crazy rain in july can cause bud rot.

It wouldn't hurt to let the hairs get darker. I have noticed that the trichomes don't change much between week 8 and week 10 for me, but the buds look much riper. It may just be strain dependent.

The buds look very good on your plants. What strain is that? Were they grown from seed or clone?

I have a strain called "Chem Dawg" that doesnt change appearance from week 8 to infinity. The hairs never get brown - they stay a beige color no matter how long I let it go. The trichomes turn cloudy at week 7 and then don't change much for weeks after. It is powerful smoke though.

Pics are very hard to see up close...a nigfht pic with flash might help.  However I think I saw what is common on sativas...(re-growth) whena plant maxed out and already has 70-75% red hairs it can keep growing if not taken right at peak to give the allusion that it is still growing.  When in fact it coould have been pulled.  Honestly I don't run anything past 9 weeks in my Med garden so this is never an issue.

But just pull it.  Are you running chemical nutes or organics..?  Run it with water for a few days then chop her.  Who cares if it is exactly right. .just get er done and dried up then worry about being perfect down the road.  I never sweat over the small stuff anymore.  I pull em when they are close enough.  Forget about it..lol...

Ahhh,..you have real CHEMDAWG my friend if the hairs are a "tan" "beige" color.  I have run several Chems and the best by is by ISP seeds..the real chems do not have red hairs but the off browns.  THis makes it hard to judge by just visual site.  I learned the hard way and it took me several runs to get er done.

But just from that description alone I would bet you have a good CHEMDAWG.  Check out ISP's Chemdawg bx3 it is by far the post potent plant I have run.

It is awesome stuff. Seriously sticky buds that cure to a hard, sticky nugget. More leaf than calyx. It is also the most robust plant I have ever grown. Very forgiving and easy to grow. It has a lemony, dank smell and the smoke is "dank" - the only plant I have ever grown that I would define as "dank". The plant stays very green through flowering, but the buds cure out to a very light green/tan color.

I was given the seeds as a gift so I do not know its origins.

I just went and read the description of the ISP Chemdawg Bx3 and it describes this plant to a tee. The pictures look identical to the plant I have.

first let me say that your plants look very nice,,you may want to stagger your harvest,,pull a plant or two every week or so...when i first started i never let them go long enough and you can get some real differences with a extra couple weeks..if you're not in a rush let them sit in the dark or lights on 6 to 8 hours for 2 weeks(light water,or no water but keep the air moving).as for yield,,you'll be surprised as to how much weight you'll lose after trimming and drying...sativa dominate buds can be fluffy and look like they should yield more than they do...i average mine at 2-2 1/2 oz. per plant and when it's all said and done and i'm usually pretty close to that and your plants look typical to what i grow.

you're not done yet....you've still got to get em dried and in the sack or jar ...lol..bp
