A federal case alleging a connection between marijuana grows in Trinity County and sales in Michigan and other states has resulted in numerous arrests and asset forfeiture proceedings in the millions of dollars, court records show.

Last week, Frederick May and Logan Randolph were arrested in Weaverville. They appeared in the U.S. District Court in Sacramento and were released on bond. Jonathan P. White was arrested in Denver, Colo., and David Larson and Christopher Wilson were arrested in Santa Ana, Calif. They are named in an indictment by a federal grand jury in Michigan along with Kyle McDonald, Clifford Campbell, Scott Richard Carmichael and Bradley Bergquist.
