Another fine question may be  "Has any member here been "ensnared" by a cop in this forum ?

do you think police are posing as new patients and caregivers and looking to catch some members here for transferring mmj to non-patients?

it just seems like theres a lot of new patients , trying to find seeds, trying to find meds, trying to find help.

but theres a lot of justifiably cautious posters here who take offense to new patients asking for such things.

i really dont know the answer, i dont think anyone does. have to ask mr komorn or other lawyer if they had any case where a patient/cg was ensnared on a mmj forum. or file some FOIA to find out where the police are concentrating their efforts.

i hope everyone can be nicer to new patients.

i'm not asking anyone to do anything illegal or any act they are not comfortable with doing. just try not to call people liars and narcs on their first posts maybe?

they dont know the rules. they dont know all of the cases. they dont know about bob :). they dont know about oakland county. they dont know sen rick jones and AG bill schuette. they dont know about king/kolanek. mcqueen. carruthers. bylsma. ter beek.

I get that BT, I do. But you told me you were not compliant when you began growing your medical marijuana. Can you tell me who set you up to plant those seeds before the state verified your eligibility ?

It is our duty to take efforts to remove that judge, at least from mmmj cases, if you have not done so already.

Thanks

As we know today Per the C.O.A you do not need a card to be able to grow Cannabis but do need your Doc Rec. before starting

why do you mention craigslist so much ?

Both republicans and democrats voted for unfair trade agreements, and both enjoy the benefits of our welfare system. There are democrats also in favor of commercializing cannabis, and removing your privilege of home growing it.

Hooray for your party, I guess.

Jonah Goldberg

1) The Trail of Tears (1838): The first Democrat President, Andrew Jackson and his successor Martin Van Buren, herded Indians into camps, tormented them, burned and pillaged their homes and forced them to relocate with minimal supplies. Thousands died along the way.

2) Democrats Cause The Civil War (1860): The pro-slavery faction of the Democrat Party responded to Abraham Lincoln's election by seceding, which led to the Civil War.

3) Formation of the KKK (1865): Along with 5 other Confederate veterans, Democrat Nathan Bedford Forrest created the KKK.

4) 300 Black Americans Murdered (1868): "Democrats in Opelousas, Louisiana killed nearly 300 blacks who tried to foil an assault on a Republican newspaper editor."

5) The American Protective League and The Palmer Raids (1919-1921): Under the leadership of Woodrow Wilson, criticizing the government became a crime and a fascist organization, the American Protective League was formed to spy on and even arrest fellow Americans for being insufficiently loyal to the government. More than 100,000 Americans were arrested, with less than 1% of them ever being found guilty of any kind of crime.

6) Democrats Successfully Stop Republicans From Making Lynching A Federal Crime (1922): "The U.S. House adopted Rep. Leonidas Dyer’s (R., Mo.) bill making lynching a federal crime. Filibustering Senate Democrats killed the measure."

7) The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment (1932-1972): Contrary to what you may have heard, Democrats in Alabama did not give black Americans syphilis. However, the experimenters did know that subjects of the experiment unknowingly had syphilis and even after it was proven that penicillin could be used to effectively treat the disease in 1947, the experiments continued. As a result, a number of the subjects needlessly infected their loved ones and died, when they could have been cured.

8) Japanese Internment Camps (1942): Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt issued an executive order that led to more than 100,000 Japanese Americans being put into "bleak, remote camps surrounded by barbed wire and armed guards."

9) Alger Hiss Convicted Of Perjury (1950): Hiss, who helped advise FDR at Yalta and was strongly defended by the Left, turned out to be a Soviet spy. He was convicted of perjury in 1950 (Sadly, the statute of limitations on espionage had run out), but was defended by liberals for decades until the Verona papers proved so conclusively that he was guilty that even most his fellow liberals couldn't continue to deny it.

10) The West Virgina Democrat primary is rigged by John F. Kennedy (1960): From an interview with the late, great Robert Novak.

John Hawkins: You also said that without question, John F. Kennedy rigged the West Virginia Democratic primary in (1960), but that the Wall Street Journal killed the story. Do you think that sort of thing is still occurring with great regularity and do you wish the Journal had reported the story when it happened?

Robert Novak: In my opinion, they should have. They sent two reporters down to West Virginia for six weeks and they came back with a carefully documented story on voter fraud in West Virginia, buying votes, and how he beat Humphrey in the primary and therefore got the nomination. But, Ed Kilgore, the President of Dow Jones and publisher of the Wall Street Journal, a very conservative man, said it wasn’t the business of the Wall Street Journal to decide the nominee of the Democratic Party and he killed the story. That story didn’t come out for many, many years — 30-40 years. It was kept secret all that time.

11) The Bay of Pigs (1961): After training a Cuban militia to overthrow Castro, Kennedy got cold feet and didn't give the men all the air support they were promised. As a result, they were easily defeated by Castro's men and today, Cuba is still ruled by a hostile, anti-American dictatorship.

12) Fire Hoses And Attack Dogs Used On Children (1963): Birmingham, Alabama's notorious Commissioner of Public Safety, Democrat Bull Connor, used attack dogs and fire hoses on children and teenagers marching for civil rights. Ultimately, thousands of them would also be arrested.

13) Stand In The Schoolhouse Door (1963): Democrat George Wallace gave his notorious speech against integrating schools at the University of Alabama in which he said, "segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever."

14) Escalation In Vietnam (1964): Lyndon Johnson dramatically escalated our troops’ presence in Vietnam while he simultaneously put political restrictions in place that made the war unwinnable. As a result, 58,000 Americans died in a war that ultimately achieved none of its aims.

15) Chappaquiddick (1969): The Democrats’ beloved "Liberal Lion" of the Senate, Ted Kennedy ran off the road into a tidal pool with passenger Mary Jo Kopechne in the car. Kennedy swam free and then spent 9 hours plotting how he would reveal the news to the press while she slowly suffocated to death.

16) Democrats Deliver South Vietnam To The North (1975): "In 1975, when there were no Americans left in Vietnam, the left wing of the Democratic Party killed the government of South Vietnam, cut off all of its funding, cut off all of its ammunition, and sent a signal to the world that the United States had abandoned its allies." --

17) The Iranian Hostage Crisis (1979-1981): 52 Americans were held hostage by the government of Iran for 444 days. After Jimmy Carter’s disastrous, failed rescue attempt, the hostages were finally released after Ronald Reagan's inaugural address.

18) Bill Clinton turns down Osama Bin Laden (1996): In Bill Clinton's own words, "'Mr. bin Laden used to live in Sudan. He was expelled from Saudi Arabia in 1991, then he went to Sudan. And we’d been hearing that the Sudanese wanted America to start meeting with them again. They released him. At the time, 1996, he had committed no crime against America so I did not bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America.' — Bill Clinton explains to a Long Island, N.Y., business group why he turned down Sudan’s offer to extradite Osama Bin Laden to America in 1996." Had Bill Clinton accepted Sudan's offer, 9/11 would have likely never happened.

19) Bill Clinton was impeached (1998): Clinton became only the 2nd President in American history to be impeached after he lied under oath about his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

20) America loses its AAA credit rating (2011): The United States was first given its AAA credit in 1917, but it couldn’t survive Barack Obama's record breaking spending. In 2011, America lost its AAA credit rating.

This is all very interesting information, but I don't know how you can look at a party's position 150 years ago and draw any correlation to that same party's current philosophies.

For example:  "2) Democrats Cause The Civil War (1860): The pro-slavery faction of the Democrat Party responded to Abraham Lincoln's election by seceding, which led to the Civil War."

If you talk to hard-core Dixie folk (who would, today, consider themselves as republicans) they like to talk about the "war of northern aggression."  So the civil war era separatists were mostly "democrat" (whatever that meant at the time) but they considered that the White House more or less caused the war based on aggressive policies against their interests (Lincoln ran on an anti-slavery platform).  Yet, today, in places like Texas, you have a lot of Republicans who have favored separating from the union, and they blame the democrats for this.  So whose fault is it when a group decides to break from the union?  One can't have it both ways.

yep, but 2011 is pretty recent, for a timeline of events fromm beginning to current.

I don't support any party who does what either of these two have done to our political party. In my lifetime nobody has been satisfied with their voted decision. Both parties sold out America with unfair trade agreements, both have political embarrassments. Votes today seem as if someone is always supporting the lesser of two evils. Imagine if those people actually voted their conscience, instead of buying into the twins' sell ?

I vote for neither of the evils myself, and respect eveyones voting ability and choices. I  do not respect either of those parties actions in my lifetime as a whole, enough to buy into the program of dem vs rep.

these posts are in response to the ridiculous "falkin repubs /dems" speak that I hear from many supporters, of both sides, not to express my personal political views.

After re reading your case file, I apologize to you. I don't know the date you planted the seeds, compared to the date you received a recommendation from a qualified physician, but neither did the police !.

I believe you and your partner had every right to protection, and that I voted for this act for the two of you.

who "tipped" police? how/why would they know, and why didn't they know you were compliant?  have you questioned them?

I think we were within the Act otherwise the Judge would have not dismissed our Case

beourbud and grassmatch had a pretty good discussion going.  A little testy, but this is an emotional subject. New people that come here because it is FIRST on Google don't know about arrests, dispensaries being busted, that is in the past now. They want INFORMATION. They can find the same info on the States LARA website. Do you guys even KNOW how many pts are out there alone, with no help? Make this site the way it was intended to be. Nobody posts in the illness forums, people need other people to talk to,dealing with a serious illness sucks the life out of you. You all know this! And we all know that our law is the suckiest one anywhere. Sure, pay, you get your card, but you better not try to find any meds, and even getting help from other cardholders is illegal! It doesn't make sense and to me,that is exactly what the intention was.No politican will help us,either party. The ACLU could give a rats butt about OUR rights being violated by LEO everyday. Remember the FIRST copies of the law? It said that the State would not give your info to any LEO. Does anyone whose records were seized know what happened to them? I don't. And I don't like it. Every year the application gets more and more invasive...for the Dr,the CG and the pt. Who decides this? Do you know? I don't. We as legal pts can barely discuss this important issue because of Govt thugs with their boots on our necks. You can't tell your Dr,you can't tell anybody. It's more paranoid out there than it ever was in the 70s. Politicians are the ones that should have mandatory drug testing, not some kid working at McDs.

I think you've tried craigslist, and failed. I think you switch your political support when convenient. I think the pic of your bud is spectacular, with mouth watering form and  coloring, and I think I would like to sample some outdoor magic, the kind you have there.

I think its been along time since I had outdoor quality like that one.

...and instead of ANSWERING your valid post, and correct historical facts,it gets turned into another subject. Or maybe it's just a GLITCH in the website. They have no answer,so they just attack you. Typical Saul Alinsky tactic, right there in his books.

The Natural Solution is Decriminalize Hemp Completely....Effectively ending the drug war

Good eye on Saul, missed by most repubs as they are not big on readin.  They sure can cut and paste though

Oh my! lmso :)

This reminded me of a picture in high times mag back in the 70's of a man who had done just

that and got himself busted.  He was wearing only a loin cloth, had shaved his body completely

of body hair.  He was however coated well in a wooly looking fuzz over his entire body.

He intended to go home and scrape himself off.  I do not recall where this was. It was becoming

a problem in the fields & that is how he got busted as they were watching diligently.

I never forgot that story w/ pic :)

I am def in w/ the naked running through the fields!

Maybe we could make this a yearly pre harvest event,

kinda like the corn mazes @ Halloween time ? LOL

Are you a member of the ACLU ? Have you been to their web site? they need to here from people like you

sorry

And we all know that our law is the sulkiest one anywhere. i also have to disagree we have one of the best Laws in the county the Law as it is written is the best sense  sliced  bread
