Do you think that NOT being allowed to legally have both firearms AND a MMM card prevents people from registering and going legal?

 

If an avid hunter has to choose between legal medicine and hunting....what's his most frequent choice?  

 

Do you all know people who haven't gone legal because they don't want to give up their gun collection?

What is the logic behind such a law?  

 

So...how do caregivers & patients who grow secure their crop?    Besides locked doors and security systems....big, aggressive dogs?

 

Does the State of Michigan cross reference Medical cards with hunting licenses and go after offenders?  What is the penalty?

We'll your questions are all great ones for me if you do grow cannabis i would not have a gun around the home thats the way i see it

Welcome to the site i am from West Virginian and the people there won't give there Guns up nor their Cannabis

These are legal limbo zones due to Federal law and state law differences.  Marijuana growing is a felony on the Federal level. Using a gun to "protect" your felony in progress is bad.

 

So,.. take your guns to your relatives or buddies house.  Can still hunt etc etc, but home protecting while committing a felony?  It is up to you whether to take the risk. 

 

When it is legal Federally, this question becomes mute and the only question left is if there is an issue with "under the influence" while using a gun.

I know one person who was busted growing  The guns were locked up ,  They did not seize the guns. And they said if the guns were not locked up they would of taken them and gave them another charge  Using a gun to "protect" your felony , But i would not press this issue ,

Mostly they just don't want your gun handy when they bust down your door to check on your grow, that could endanger an officer. Make sure your gun is not readily available for home invasions and you should be good to go. Sad but true ......

Soooo.... You just told everyone,ya can't "Protect your Home" or your grow with a Firearm if you have Cannabis in your system?According to Fed Law your absolutely RIGHT.Our Law has some BIG, screwed up Holes in it that will take a Loooooooong time to fix simply because there's money involved.We make it so they can take it!!!!!!!

i like the way Malamute said it i would do as he says but their has been some that have gotten their gun and Cannabis back from Leo if someone counts that as a win after paying $$$ for a Lawyers to  help
