booberry43
Hello to all of you MMMA users! My name is Rob and I recently received my MMMP card from the State of Michigan. I have spent considerable time learning to grow my own medicine organically. There is at least one member on this site to whom I owe a great deal for sharing his knowledge of horticulture and organic growing methods of cannabis with me. In fact, he is the reason that I have joined this site. I will not mention any names of course, but you probably know who you are. I have many legal questions that remain unanswered. On second thought, maybe unanswered is not the appropriate term. It is more like conflicting answers exist for the questions, making those questions seem unanswered. Here's what I mean: I asked a personal friend who has a valid hard card: "How many plants can I legally have for 1 patient (myself) including mothers, clones, vegetating, flowering, and harvested plants?" I am told I can have: 12 plants in flower Any number of unusable seeds, seedlings, clones, or vegetating plants 2.5 oz. of Usable Medicine - Cured in Jars And I ask the counter person at a local dispensary the same question: "How many plants can I legally have for 1 patient (myself) including mothers, clones, vegetating, flowering, and harvested plants?" I am told I can have: 12 plants maximum if they have roots including seedlings, clones, vegetating, and flowering plants Any number of cannabis seeds because they are considered unusable and do not have roots 2.5 oz. of Usable Medicine If someone knows the correct answer to the above question so I stay legal, I would greatly appreciate it! - Boo Edited January 14, 2014 by booberry43 aldarlene
trichcycler
12 plants, regardless of maturity, 2.5 oz of usable marijuana, nothing to do with cured or drying in a tray or in a jar hanging from a rack or even leaves in a plastic bag., per registered patient. clones, rooted or not, or seedlings are all plants. STAY SAFE! 2.5. If they can weigh it, and use it against you, it seems to be considered "usable" haha rely on the law, not word of mouth. check this out.. http://www.michigan.gov/lara/0,4601,7-154-35299_63294_63303_51869_52138---,00.html Edited January 14, 2014 by grassmatch

rebel513r
Personally I would count anything cut and hanging as useable and applied to plant count, there is a big discrepancy in this area because at what point does it become useable? People have different opinions, but if you want to cover your donkey count it as useable vand plants, because if thats what puts you over your limit, thats how they will count it. Error on the side of caution my friend.
coreyz
Clones are plants and considered intent

Error on the side of caution my friend. 2.5 oz's cured ready to use, 12 plants, plants are clones, vegging and budding, so if you want to spread em out, you could have 4 clones, 4 vegging, and 4 budding = 12, nothing else to say, you can have 12 plants, I would not even have 12 plants hanging and 12 plants growing in any stage. If you are only growing for your self you dont need to waist a spot on a mother, just make sure you clone the ones you want every time, I prefer 3 in budd, 3 in veg and 3 cloning, I like to leave a few spaces in case somthing comes along and I want it, and the best advise I can give you besides the law above is loose lips sink ships! TheHarvester
Boo, Welcome aboard. To echo Jim's comments above, not enough can be said about being discreet and keeping conversations to a minimum. In these forums we have seen story after story of people's family members, significant others, best friends etc. etc. inadvertently or deliberately revealing things to undesirables that become incredibly problematic. If you are growing indoors, a lesson I would pass along I learned many years ago, and we have talked about this year....always have a generator ready that can power your garden. I prefer having one for house and then having a completely dedicated one for the grow. Twice this year that saved me from complete losses. Good luck my man! booberry43
Thanks for the good info! Looks like long veg times, and in-line cloning techniques may be in order. Poor Mom...
