so many companies being created, how are we going to figure out the legit ones from the pump-and-dump scammers?

 

That is THE question.  They don't have to report to the SEC and many are new so one does not really know what they are getting, compared to buying say Pepsi.

 

My strategy has been to take a small stake in many companies and as time goes by and I learn more, I have been trying to bulk up on the better looking companies and lighten up on the worse looking companies.  Sounds easy but it is not easy either because again, we know precious little about the companies. 

 

I have watched the entire group of stocks to see which ones the investors think are winners or losers.  The entire group is probably up about 300-500% in the last month.  It has been unbelievable to watch some of these crummy little companies suddenly become multi million dollar companies due to stock price rise.

Everything is OUCH right now. Market correction. Then we will get the 'withdraw for taxes' down turn.
