Stephen Randall Glass (born September 15, 1972)[1] is a former U.S. journalist who came to prominence when it was uncovered he had fabricated a number of magazine articles in 1998. Over a three-year period as a young rising star at The New Republic (TNR) from 1995 to 1998, Glass fabricated quotations, sources, and even entire events in articles he wrote for that magazine and others.
