Medical Marihuana Act Review Panel

Carole Engle, Director of the Bureau of Health Care Services, Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs announced today the appointment of Dr. Ronald Bradley to the Review Panel of the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act. Dr. Bradley, whose appointment is effective August 28, 2013, represents the physician members of the Advisory Committee on Pain and Symptom Management.

•Lisa Ashley of Petoskey is President of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of Michigan representing non-physician members of the Advisory Committee on Pain and Symptom Management.

 

•Dr. Ronald Bradley, of Williamston, is the chief of psychiatry and professor and co-course director for neurosciences and mental health at Central Michigan University's College of Medicine. Dr. Bradley represents licensed physician members of the Advisory Committee on Pain and Symptom Management.

 

•David Brogren of Bloomfield Hills is an insurance agent and President of Cannabis Patients United representing non-physician members.

 

 

•David Crocker, M.D. of Kalamazoo is owner and President of Michigan Holistic Health representing licensed physician members.

 

 

•Matthew Davis, M.D., Michigan Chief Medical Executive and Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan, C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and U-M Medical School and Associate Professor of Public Policy at U-M Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.

 

 

•Robert Fabiano, Ph.D. of Lansing is Executive Director and Psychologist with PAR Rehab Substance Abuse Services representing non-physician members.

 

 

•Jeanne Lewandowski of Detroit is Director of Palliative Medicine at St. John Hospital and Medical Center representing licensed physician members of the Advisory Committee on Pain and Symptom Management.

 

 

•William Morrone, D.O. of Saginaw is Director of Hospice and Palliative Care for Hospice of Michigan, Assistant Program Director at CMU College of Medicine representing licensed physician members of the Advisory Committee on Pain and Symptom Management.

 

 

•Robert Noiva, Ph.D. of Rochester is Associate Dean for Medical Education and Associate Professor of Biomedical Science at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine representing non-physician members of the Advisory Committee on Pain and Symptom Management.

 

 

•Steven Roskos, M.D. of East Lansing is Associate Professor, College of Human Medicine, Department of Family Medicine at Michigan State University representing licensed physician members of the Advisory Committee on Pain and Symptom Management.

 

 

•Claire Saadeh, Pharm.D, is Professor of Pharmacy Practice with Sparrow Health System Pharmacy Department representing non-physician members of the Advisory Committee on Pain and Symptom Management.

 

 

Composition of the panel concurs with Administrative Rule 333.131, which states members of the review panel shall include, but not be limited to, the Michigan chief medical executive and seven appointed members of the advisory committee on pain and symptom management as described in MCL 333.16204a. The seven review panel members from the advisory committee on pain and symptom management shall include four licensed physicians and three non-physicians.
