The officer reported finding drug activity and paraphernalia in the suspect's ice shanty. When the officer arrived at the suspect's house to collect the deer, he reported discovering a marijuana growing operation.

The Department of Natural Resources says 33 plants were seized in the investigation. The suspect was arrested on a fishing violation and warrants are being sought regarding the deer and marijuana violations.
