Southfield Firm Develops App For Medical Marijuana Users

SOUTHFIELD>> A Southfield-based firm has developed an app that they are calling Yelp for medical marijuana.

 

 

Called 420-101, the app is an online database of medical marijuana dispensaries, deliveries and doctors across the country.

 

 

“You open it (app) up and it geolocates you and provides you with every wellness center or dispensary that is around you”, said Paul Jacobs, president of JacApps, the firm that developed the app for a California-based client.

 

 

Jacobs says the app also gives consumers a list of all kinds of illnesses and types of marijuana used for various medical conditions.
