I am a combat veteran.

 

My va experience has been excellent.

 

Some staff in the va system are asshats

 

Some vets in the system are asshats

 

Overall I totally appreciate my va healthcare coverage...but then again I expect and am preparred to fight for every step of every process so I am not disspaointed with any results.

 

It took me over 15 years to get my paperwork correct just to be able to show i qualify for healthcare...15 years... no joke. Appeal after appeal.. finally took me sending a letter to my congressman.

 

If your having va issues with any area including healthcare - my advice is and will be....send a well written letter to your congressman.
