according to report from 2012:

http://www.publichealth.va.gov/docs/epidemiology/ptsd-report-fy2012-qtr3.pdf

"An estimated half of those with combat-related PTSD do not seek treatment, according to Veterans Affairs statistics."

PTSD’s symptoms, like hypervigilance, rage, insomnia, depression, guilt, avoidance and anxiety, can also make veterans “strangers to themselves,” which is particularly hard for parents to watch.

so dont get treatment for yourself. get treatment for your familys sake.

This is one of the reasons we are glad PTSD was added.  But the Vets are only the tip of the iceberg, there are far more civilian patients due to abuse, accidents and other trauma- police/healthcare providers are another group that has issues with this condition.

We encourage proper diagnosis and treatment.

What are those ways to obtain a dx that establishes the likelihood that cannabis can be an effective tx?
