I was a little worried about the wristband driving home but I didn't see any leo down 475 to 69 back to Lennon.

Got some genetics from 4 Mich. companies and making a decision on what I'm getting from the 5th tomorrow. Got lots of t's and will get some more tomorrow.

The inside of the race track is ALL medicinal. They didn't say that on the tickets. We didn't find that out until we got in,and you still had to go get another wrist band  to get in.There were vendors on the outside, food, booze. So if you don't have a card, you can't go in!It did say that in the little booklet they give you in the gift pack, but not on the tickets. And thats where all the good stuff is! Everthing marijuana is free,it cannot be sold. Medibles,Dab stations, all kinds of puffage, but was so disappointed when my friend had to stay on the outside. Really crowded so if you have anxiety issues about crowds, medicate the hell out of yourself. 20 bucks to park. Lots of growers newest things,. Cool but make sure you take a LOT of money. 200.00 wasn't enough. Gorilla Glue Clones were 150 in a red cup. OMG what the heck is Shatter, all I know is I was hammered for HOURS after I got home, still blasted! But getting to the booths was tough, and a lot of jostling and pushing your way thru. So if that kinda crowds bug you, don't puff any of the Shatter until you're ready to go home. Many seed company booths, lots of new nutes, growing closets, seeds were starting at 75 for 5-10 depending on the strain. Good time,it was real hot,and be ready to walk, they had guys with golf carts giving people a lift to the track. The place is huge, all professional staff, a lot different than a FM or a festival. If you are in a chair, you will be crowded.A unique experience for sure.

It wasn't that bad after the crowd thinned out.  Today should be better as sunday's are always lighter on a 2 day show(and prices are better too, years of reptile shows) and rain is in the forcast. I'm getting much better with my anxiety issues, I think it's because I have a GPS and can go it alone better without getting confused in a new place. And I had no problem getting a pking spot for $10 with re-entry, $8 further away.  Picked up 2 shirts for $20 ea and got 4 free seeds with each(MTG's Presidential Kush1.2) So that's 2 shirts and 8 seeds for $40.  Got Ice river's bubble queen for $60/15 and TGA's 9lb. hammer at 5/$50 and Gage Green's untested grapestomper OG X Purple Kush for $80/11(all regulars) and I'm goin back today, so who know's.  Had time to read over descriptions.  Thinking of Mota rebels Super Snow Ballz and Ice River's Grapefruit Badass and MTG's Cherry Bomb or Orange Creamsicle if they have it.  Got some Liberty Haze there and wasn't too impressed.  I'll try it again when I haven't had mine first.

So bummed I missed this, my wife got the day off and she was going to drive, but a flat tire followed by the place we buy our tires, being closed on Sundays (thank you Jesus for another ruined Sunday) shut down my plans for good. I really wanted to try and find that gage green grape stomper, for breeding purposes, and meet and greet some of the members here. Plus the seminars sounded great. Did anyone check out Nicky Escondido's set? 150 for gorilla glue, nice to hear the patients were being taken care of, I mean they're practically giving them away, compared to their bud trader ads. LOL.

Busy, Busy, Busy.  Just hopping in the shower.  Be there around 4.  Have my white medical culture t on and a green gator filters black baseball cap with a gage green pin on it and green shorts.  If you find me there'll be a surprise. :)

Some folks were unable to get in because they live out of the state and were disappointed that it was not made clear by the promoters that a large part of the venue limited them from enjoying much of what they came to see, but they did get their admission refunded readily enough. I was in enough pain to prevent me from getting around, so we had an all day and all night party at the cottages with some very interesting people, music, ultra top shelf cannabis, and a wild assortment of craft beers. I had a better time than I think admission to the event would have provided, given that my mobility issues would have made it difficult, if not impossible, although I was helped in that there was someone to help with my wheelchair whenever necessary. Some other Michigan residents opted to stay and did not bother with the event. There were no regrets on their part. I lost a pipe and a couple of lighters, but count it a small contribution to the cause. Thanks everyone for the good time.

I would like to start out by saying that I had a GREAT time in Clio at Wee Pines last weekend!

meeting up with fellow club members was way cool and hanging out and enjoying the company of old and new friends is simply how i choose to spend my free time!

and to be blessed with such beautiful weather was just icing on the cake!

as for the high times cannibals cup...

can you say dropped the ball?

how about dropped the ball and kicked it in the street and it got ran over by a big truck?

I will start off by SLAMMING the event organizers and the promoters...

to say that their advertizing and promotion were misleading is a serious understatement...

they were very clear to warn us that they would be hiring outside security and there would be no medicating outside of the designated medicating area

they also made it clear that you had to be a card carrying Michigan resident to gain access to the medication area

so anyway all of the vending  was inside the racetrack and only cardholders with wristbands were permitted through the gate

talk about a BUZZ STOMP

are you kidding me?

weed is considered to be decriminalized in Ohio and we are used to smoking openly at music festivals and the like

so the idea of a "smoke out" is kinda sophmoric

when approached with reasonable options to fix their complete clusterfak they were not interested...

my issue is with the promoters of the event for the misleading advertising as well as not accommodation these folks once they were aware of the situation

we talked with the head ok security at length about it

he completely understood our issues and made an effort by having a meeting with the high times folks to no avail

we suggested having security members escort small groups of non card holders through to assure that we didn't medicate but that got shot down :(

(even when we offered to tip the security team members)

finally after one of our group started getting irate and loud they pacified us with a refund

needless to say my friends and I were  beyond disappointed :)

I met another group leaving andadvised a couple who had came up from Lexington to get their refund as well

at this point I don't have much positive to say about the High Times organization and feel they dropped the ball on this one

why they didn't have a medication tent (or3) inside the venue?

I would be curious to know how many out of state and non-cardholders were turned away?

I'm sure the vendors would have noticed a differencein their sales

and the countless attendees and the expenses they occurred driving and the accommodations to stay in the area can set folks back

I'm sure for some it was a sort of mini vacation...?

so for what its worth the High Times cannibus cup was a big dissapointment :(

and unless they stup up to the plate and take care of folks they can suck it

the opportunity to meet folks from the club and enjoy a beautiful weekend with like minded folk overshadowed the corporate sponsored event in a way makes me feel better about things altogether :)

I'm looking forward to more opportunities to meet up with fellow board members!

GregS it was a pleasure to meet up with you and get to hang out!

imiubu I'm so glad that your party decided to join up with us at Wee Pines

y'all were a blast and I hope you had as much fun as we did!

I look forward to the opportunity to do it again!

KF :)

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

It was an immense pleasure kf. I could not have had a better time. I am in agreement regarding the event, and if you agree, we should send correspondence to High Times. I think NORML, for whom I have little enough respect, was also involved. They are and have been for the last several years an insult to the movement. It is a rare event to see them do anything worthwhile. It was better to make our own fun. No regrets.

Am I to understand that your studio is intended to product glass products?
