A Must Read:10 Commercial Grows, Get Rid Of Medical. Pgt

Recommended Posts

I have personally spent a lot of time talking one on one with Tim and I think that his position has been twisted by the author of the original post, Rick Thompson.

Tim is not saying that we as a group need to support MRC nor is he working for them.   What he is saying is these people have the political clot and potentially the dollars to either buy the legislators or mount a ballot question.    At the sametime he is saying he does not believe that the community has the manpower or dollars to mount its own its own legalization effort.

You can agree or disagree with his assessment.   He is not representing MRC, but rather saying we can not dismiss them under the assumption that the community is mounting its own legalization effort.  On that issue he is clearly saying, hey, I have been there for the last 15+ years and I do not believe you have the manpower or dollars to make that happen.  On that subject, he has the legalization experience with the decrim. ballot efforts that he and Chuck Ream have helped organize and support in the various cities across Michigan.

From my perspective it seems like the sentiment seems to be shoot the messenger as opposed to listen to what he is saying.

NO ONE has the political power to get a 75% vote out of our legislature. And no one has the money and man power to succeed at any form of legalization ballot proposal.

That's the truth but it doesn't stop people who don't understand from getting milked by lobbyists. It's just a bunch of sharks eating each other.

As I said many times before Tim is a clown and out for himself and himself only. HE DOES NOT SPEAK FOR ME...............

Edited to add that he is a Rick Jones kinda guy and that comes from his own words. He thinks he is one of them and he thinks that if he kisses their arse enough that they will magically make him an honorary Senator or Congressman. The guy is a quack.........

The liars say they have the money. One of the liars is a reporter on staff and knows how to work the press. But when you delve into what they have been doing they are failing miserably already.

Investors contributed $4 million to each of nine limited liability corporations tied to ResponsibleOhio last year, according to securities offering filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

resto, you think they are lying to the SEC about these investor contributions?

Did you find record of the filings and see that the money has to solely be used for this ballot initiative as what you are asking implies? Or is it that you believe them without checking? I'm not sure anyone could verify this.

and the gay marriage one they are working on ...

James is also currently behind a constitutional amendment initiative - Freedom to Marry Ohio - that would legalize same-sex marriages in the state.

Beck reiterated his oft-quoted historical perspective on Michigan’s history with medical marijuana. “When I started this crusade, this so-called medical, it was never about medical.” He bragged.  ”Medical is just simply a stepping stone in order to soften up the public to accept marijuana as normal."

An admitted lier from the word go. Why should anyone give any credence to what this turd has to say.

Since he's dishonest he assumes we all are?

Although what you say is partially true, it also does not represent Tim's view to its full extent.  That would be a bit of a sugarcoating.

I would prefer not to divulge private conversations I have had, but I can defiantly state Tim's positions fall much closer to a phuck you than anything else.  I mean, one must also remember, Tim was not allowed to be part of the Medical law because of what he is/says/does and was on the hook for a million dollar lawsuit against him if he involved himself with the medical laws passing or if he caused it to fail.

A bird in the hand is definitely worth more than a half bird in a bush.

I really am not to too keen on having my freedom sold to the highest bidder.

Colorado has proven it. That is why recreation is bumping heads with medical right now. Recreational feels the medical is consuming up too much of their profits. The patients are clearly choosing medical whether they grow their own or have a caregiver grow it.

By banning caregivers and patients from growing, and taking away our freedoms all it will do is transfer the competition from legal, medical, home grows to the black market. At that point, the black market will bloom. It will just cost more for the patients to get quality medicine and create criminals at the same time. The highest demand will be for quality medicine, which at that point will only be available via black market.

Let's take a look at the next step, assuming they are successful. It is obvious to me. It will be chemicals and radiated product. Monies diverted to the chemical companies for backing. It is just one step closer to government control so they can be sure that the marijuana carries no medicinal value whatsoever. Just like Canada. If you think this is not true, look into American tobacco processes. A natural tobacco cigarette is no longer legal to sell in the US. It must contain more than 7,000 chemicals when combusted to be legal. You can thank our President for more than 2,000 of those chemicals, he signed the bill.

Anyway, it would be very sad if this was to go through.

Think I will start looking into what state is most stable when it comes to medical marijuana.

Realistically, when it comes to government, you can run, but you can't hide. Freedoms are sold off like candy.

how bout a cap on income from cannabis say $ 100,000 lets see whos actually gives a chit about pts.

It would be such a beautiful thing if we could reassess our value & economic system. Id wager we could earnestly displace money if we opened up our minds & worked through it. Might have to sacrifice a few in the process though.
