  'Bout to bring the Hammer down in a day or two here.  Looking at a drying sample right now and trying to be patient.  I'll say one thing - it is covered in an extremely thick carpet of trichs.

My only female from the 9LB. hermied on me.  Have 2 seeds left to get to eventually.  If I get a hermie they move to the bottom of the list.

Have the grapestomper OG x Purple kush going.  Not sure what's attributed to the grapestomper though.

Thanks guys. My 9 hammers are huge and stiff, with mucho trichs also. I am not excited about the smell though, and that concerns me a little.

It's predominately lime smelling.  Frostier in appearance than Jesus OG but not as forward in the olfactory department and not as dense in bud structure.

I only had a single female out of three or four seedlings someone was kind enough to give me.  Made F2s and also crossed it with Jesus OG.  Also took a Jesus OG male and made F2s and crossed it the other way with the 9lb Hammer.

I planted 5 reg seeds of the 9lbhammer and four were females.

All but one are uniform. The oddball has the best smell and appearance, smaller yield.

The smell is unique to me and the buds are turning a bright fuchsia color. I tasted a sample

by mouth and it was tingling and made me sneeze a few times. I'm looking forward to sampling and  

singling out this cut in my stable, if she makes the cut.

Mine has a sage taste and smell at this point; dry and ready for curing.

I got a 1/4 oz or so sample of grapestomper from my CG about a month ago. It was very dense, definitely smelled and tasted like Concord grapes. A couple days later it smelled and tasted like sour diesel Then later that afternoon it went back to grape! I was impressed at the pronounced fruity flavor, I've had blueberry and the likes but never had a bag that actually smelled like the berries as much. I know it's grown hydro in a very clean process, of course I'm taking his word on that but I've never suspected to believe any different. Next harvest I hope to get an oz, maybe I'll post pictures.

 

Either way it seems like a 5 star strain for sure!

The 9lb hammer.... here's the scoop. Jinxproof made the cross. They released like 500-1000 seeds on the first batch didn't test them and had hermie problems. This was a joint venture between Mr.spliff and jinxproof sometime after releasing the first batch one of the two came out and said they Had lost the jesus og male. They supposedly found a New male that didn't carry the herm Dom trait. Meanwhile Mr.spliff split from tga and working with jinxproof all together and went to work for ggg.

 

I had the first few packs made and did find a stable phenotype that is serious dank everyone loves it and I still run it. But almost no uniformity in phenotypes and did have a few hermies.

never had any issue with TGA since 2008. They've sent me every selection offered on attitude/herbies/single seed and I love them all !

I early snipped a cola from one of the uniform plants and one from the unique. both showed mostly

cloudy trichomes and are said to finish in a couple weeks(60 days in the flower room)

The unique is a A+ keeper and the other may be too. Both pack a back of the neck punch

effect. Feeling them after the first two puffs I knew they were stars. they share similar tastes and effects but not

smells.  9 Lb Hammer is aptly named and has no disappointments here.  Another TGA winner!
