h-1 substitute out of committee much improved. Thank you whoever got this change in! Took the prohibition off the location in 7b and puts the prohibition in 7c where it's a much better fit.

The bill still sux0r, but yea,.. its different.

 

 It is hard to feel good about getting fixes when you still oppose the bill.

I mean,  Sec. 8 preserved.  But Sec. 4 violation still in tact instead of it being only a civil issue between a landlord and tenant resolved in civil court.

This change will end up with less people in jail than the previous version so it's a good change.

yea.

 

CPU opposed it even after our amendment was accepted.  We still feel it is an unneeded amendment to the Act and it will cause problems for a lot of patients.

I seen one guy up here, carded patient, is in jail for sleeping with a minor.

 

You mean in jail for following the MMMAct?

 

Or dispensary owners who were also patients?

I would say I know of none that were Sec.4 compliant(doesn't mean there isn't) and a few that were sec 8 compliant(likely).
