"last Auto Saved " ?

While typing posts a message periodically appears in the lower left of the screen announcing

"last auto saved" .

where is this saved information and how can I access it ?   and why?

click on it.  It is saving your draft automatically for you while you are on the page.

Could I get a copy of grassmatch's autosaves, please? I would like to test the pic book theory on whether or not grass sleeps.

are auto saves accessible after that page is closed/posted/too any one else during post session?

 

like if you auto saved, and someone was reading your post, they would see your latest auto save, rather than what you had posted before an edit??

I don't think so. I think it just saves everything as a draft and nobody (except maybe an admin...probably not even that thougg) sees it until you post. Probably just a fallback for mobile users and non-tech oriented folks. I know I've lost posts to clumsy thumbs and erroneous back buttons.
