Question About A Possible Qualifying Condition

Hello All,

Just asking if anyone knows or has gotten a card for an intention tremor?

Well, that specifically isn't a qualifying condition,

 

 but tremors tend to fall under this:

 

"severe and persistent muscle spasms, including but not limited to those characteristic of multiple sclerosis"

 

 

I would like to see all tremors added to the list.

I was thinking the same,

but have a patient who asked a mj dr about it and the dr said he has signed many rec's for essential tremor under chronic pain.

The dr said that a tremor that last a long time will cause muscle pain.

Just trying to be sure before we try a visit to a mj dr.

Depending on how the tremors are effecting the individual, they could qualify under chronic pain, muscle spasms or both.

Yes that was my thought also.  I guess we shall try and see what happens.

As I understand, this tremor affects the arms, head, legs and voice.  And the meds given to help have very bad side effects.

Yea.  Sounds advanced.  That really sucks.

 

There really is no "treatment" for it yet.

 

Some symptoms can be managed, but it aint getting fixed.

 

Hopefully cannabis can help relieve some of it.

cannabis can sometimes relieve side effects caused by traditional hormone/acid/chem rx treatments.

I suggest sharing symptoms with a doctor. Medical cannabis relieves the symptoms of many dis-eases.
