How should we legalize cannabis in Michigan?

 

The Michigan Comprehensive Cannabis Law Reform Committee or commonly known as MILegalize will have representatives at the Traverse Area District Library located at 610 Woodmere in Traverse City on Saturday June 27 from 2:00-5:00 PM.

 

MILegalize will be represented by board members Josey Scoggin, Rick Thompson and Jamie Lowell. Joining the discussion by Skype will be Ann Arbor Michigan House Representative Jeff Irwin and MILegalize campaign manager Chris Silva.

 

MILegalize will conduct a presentation on the language of the initiative, explain the differences between ballot groups, address concerns raised by area law enforcement and prosecutors, and answer questions from those in attendance.

 

There will also be petitions available for citizens to sign, and training available for those desiring to help gather signatures for the MILegalize campaign.
