In promulgating rules, the department shall allow for petition by the public to include additional medical conditions and treatments. In considering such petitions, the department shall include public notice of, and an opportunity to comment in a public hearing upon, such petitions. The department shall, after hearing, approve or deny such petitions within 180 days of the submission of the petition

 

so the petition was submitted a year ago, and rejected by lara. then they fought it in court for a year, until lara caved and heard the petition.

 

the 180 days were up 6 months ago.

they rejected it because the condition was "autism" instead of "severe autism" lolololol

 

so just resubmit it with severe autism then.

 

lara cant reject it, because they determined that "autism" and "severe autism" are different conditions.............

1) Petitioner said Autism instead of "Severe" autism.

 

2) Two physicians signing off is not enough.

 

3) Some autistic people 'may' qualify under seizures.

 

4) 400+ pages of peer reviewed studies is not enough scientific research.

 

5) ALL autistic children will suddenly be using marijuana.

 

6) Hash oil(resins) is not legal.

This is about a small group of small minded individuals who cling on to the past ignorance and are unwillingly to open their eyes to the scientific facts and personal testimony of autism patients. These little, little people are clinging onto the last remaining vestiges of hatred for cannabis.  The power they have now is fading and they are slowly dying off and losing what they have viewed through their tiny myopic lenses as 'their' reality.  Fortunately, with out the ability to adapt and progress, this species of dinosaur is going away.  Their world as they thought it, was merely a fallacy caused by  their own flawed perception and the fable written for them.

 

 May these intolerant and narrow minded individuals be left to die in the lie they created. They have seen the world not for what it is, but what their hate and apathy wants it to be.  I will gladly spit on intolerance that targets the helpless, hopeless and vulnerable.

 

 I will always oppose the Republican party, Nixon and Reagans Drug war and the hatred, ignorance and repugnance that came with all of them.
