i'm still dumbfounded how someone who represents less than 5,000 people ( according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olive_Township,_Ottawa_County,_Michigan) runs an entire legislative wing of the michigan state govt.

Actually, his district is comprised of ALL of Ottawa County, pop. 272,701 (2013) not just Olive Township where his residence is.

And you all think this is out of bounds?  Sorry folks, They call it Legislation, and Legislature for a reason.

Legislature Legislates Legislation.  Indirect Statutory Initiatives are Legislation for Legislature to Legislate Upon.

Abrogate Prohibition Michigan Because Michigan Legislature Creates More Criminals.
