The biggest problem I see with LED lights is the cost to get close to the output of a high pressure sodium light. The cost doesn't balance out for me, to spend $700 on a light that you can get in a high pressure sodium for 200 bucks it's just crazy

we can dream though right?  imagine if they had dial up spectrums, and didnt have bank/bulb failures often, and werent so expensive and actually used less power to get where we need to be, and lasted for many years.   man, wouldnt that just rock

we pay for watts though, but your equipment runs cooler for sure.

 

my 220 t5 fixture runs on both 220 and 110 for example, same plug even. on 120 it uses 8 amps, on 240 it uses half the amps, same light, same power payment due.

yep, except a word or two lol.

 

Do you have a Lux meter to check your PAR lighting?  I'd be interested in your real time par results. I see them on the websites from the manu, but nothing like a real user to report.
