Rick Snyder gave us a BS story about how his unpopularity in college was because of his pot growing roommate. Now we find out he's just a wanna be smart guy who doesn't have the brains to be called a nerd. He can't even appoint smart people, let alone be one. He appoints these dolts as his minions because he's afraid anyone else would laugh at his ideas. Surrounding himself by ignorant folks who have been promoted to the point of uselessness to make himself look like good in comparison. Bill Schuette is one prime example.

His college roommate was a piece of work, “I changed dorm rooms during the middle of the year and had a roommate growing a plantation” of marijuana plants. The governor says he never imbibed which was one of the reasons he was bullied.

He was probably just an a**hole. That's why he was unpopular.

Tesla sues Gov. Rick Snyder, AG Bill Schuette to sell cars in Michigan

Another situation that highlights the trap that Republicans fall into when they espouse views (free trade, freedom to do business) that are in conflict with their real motivations. I love it.

That is BS, I never smoked in college, but I was popular as hell because I hung out with a guy who always had some to smoke...  And I bet that Democrat is a republican plant...

Bullying doesn't just magically stop after high school.

Patterns are developed during early years and only the

bully and the bullied can change that if they choose.

hmm, where does domestic violence begin?

I don't believe tricky ricky was bullied... most likely

it's the other way around given his performance as gov'ner.

i dont get it. how does someone get bullied in college? have you ever been bullied as an adult? it boggles the mind.

I have been bullied as an adult and I watched the same dickhead bully other co workers, I just ignored my "foreman," told the owner of the company about his bullying tactics, to which his reply was; "What do you want me to do about it."  I had to quit after 12 years busting my donkey for this company because the other option would have been long term confinement!

What stopped you from bullying back after work, like at the bar or other places, You dont have to kill some one or quit your job because of an arse hole,  no one would bully me to leave a job I had 12 yrs in, unless the job didnt have a good pension or benny's, in that case I wouldnt work their for 12 yrs!

Peace

edit= I guess I may have been a bully to empoyee's that didnt do there job, I was self employed most of my adult life and I had employee's, if they couldnt do there job they got warned, and next step was fired!

The apathy displayed by the owner of the company, the bullying and sociopathic tendencies of the so called foreman, and the housing market collapse, made my desire to move to Alaska become a reality. Even though it was short lived, at least I got to drive to AK and see the awesome natural beauty.

no worries, I stuck with it for another year after you left, to complete my 12 years service for the same azzhole.  The experience was so inspiring it encouraged me to make sure this was the last clock I ever punched. When I began day dreaming of his pain, actually relishing in the fact that he paid me to sit and think of ways to get even with him(me) it was time to change my life.

Malloy, a great democrat that was handed a 3.7 BILLION dollar deficit when he took office. Had to raise taxes. That's how the Republicans do it, lower taxes and hand someone else the bill.

Then there was the Sandy Nook shooting where he had to attempt some gun control to do the right thing for the 26 families that lost their children. He's up against the gun lobby because there are gun manufactures located in his state.

He's a remarkable person that has overcome severe disabilities to get where he is at. He does the right thing because it's the right thing to do then has to suffer with the results of raising taxes and attempting gun control in a state that is confused about what exactly to do about it's major problems so they blame the governor. Not at all like Snyder who does the wrong things, over and over, and the people here can see that clearly.

That is why we need labor unions to be strong. If there's a real union of employees then the boss doesn't get to bully anyone ever.

Which brings us to Trump wanting to kill every single labor union so he can make bullies rule all of the job sites. That's the Great America he wants to feed you. Bullies are quite happy about that. If you get out and about you will see a lot of Trump Bullies strutting their stuff these days. Never thought I would see that in style again. But it is what it is ......

I don't know if there's been a poll of left to right politics of members here, but I am guessing Rest is the furthest to the Left - probably a couple standard deviations from his nearest neighbor :)

I don't identify with a party. I identify with issues. That's why I explain issues. Like budgets, gun control and the gun lobby, bullying in the workplace reduced by strong and fair labor unions. I'm nether left or right. I vote the issues and I'm not afraid to point out issues that are predominantly the problem of one party or another.

Try to address the issues and not the messenger. Make a good argument for any issue and I listen and think about it. I'm easily swayed by good content whether you consider it left or right, I'm more concerned with right and wrong.

I try not to get involved in right vs left politics because the vehement hate displayed for one party or the other just brings me down. I vote my conscious, and that leaves little room for either of the dominant, elitist ruling classes. I do however, do my best to be informed on issues and not through propaganda.

Rarely do we have such a clear cut issue as Governor Snyder's lack of ability to do his job. We usually don't have all these victims in someone's wake that we can pin on one person's bad decisions to appoint totally inept people to important jobs.

The same azzhole?

Exactly. Revenge is a dish served cold, very cold, at best forgotten.
