LARA new patient application and new rec law?

I submitted an application early November and am curious whether anyone knows whether the new rec law passed will delay medical applications? In other words, will the LARA medical application division be overburden with dealing with rec policy now or will it be completely separate?

My best guess is YES.   I submitted a change of caregiver app in October (LARA cashed the check 10/26) and we have yet to see anything.   Previously their turnaround time was getting to be less than a month.

Understanding both processes, I can't see why anything would be delayed. Not much overlap. But hey, they have used every single thing you could possibly think of to delay everything involving legal cannabis. One time they said their printer quit working! That caused months of delays. Someone sneezes at LARA and we get a delay.

That printer was something like $750K.  It organizes the pics that never happened, creates the cards and the holographic image, prints the letter and envelope and spits out the mail ready piece.  Guy that fixes the machine probably lives in Germany or Korea.

Just the fact that a $750,000 printer even made it into the planning stages shows they wanted to fail.
