Dirt fell apart while tranplanting?

Hello.  Im a newbie. Have transplanted before with no problem, HOWEVER, this time the soil was way too dry and fell apart when transplanting a fire og and was flopping around.  BUT it seemed like it was STILL ATTACHED!  So, my questions is simple, will it survive?  thanks!

should be fine.  Be sure to bury the root ball a little deeper than it was in previous pot.  I try to make the dirt level at least 1-2" higher on the stem each transplant.

Tip.  Always water them before transplanting so soil is moist and roots will remain entact.

Thanks!    I appreciate it.  Usually never had a problem but i think i let this one get too dry before transplanting.   Really looking forward to the fire og so i was pretty bummed when it happened.  as i said, the pant did not detach itself from the roots so hopefully ll will be good!
