t5 OR t8 lights for clones?

Hello.  Im about ready to buy a new fluorescent light for the cloning station.  Should i get t5 or t8?  Thanks.

Go blue led or daylight CFL. The others work too, but why waste more money on a cloning station light? As long as you're using a daylight spectrum, you're golden. T5's need to be farther away, cfl and leds can be just over the clones. Your choice really.

I use a cloning bucket (5 gallon) with a 27 watt cfl in an aluminum reflector over the clones. Used this for years now without any problems. Only clone 8 at a time. Plenty for my operation.

Is your cloning separate from your veg? Clones don't require much light, mine simply sit on the outside edge of my veg room.  They really don't require a dedicated light source
