ABOUT MICHAEL FISHER Michael Fisher has worked in several fields of science, since 1997. He has experience in horticulture, mycology, entomology, environmental technology, research, technical writing, technical services, product development, product testing, marketing, and commercialization. Mr. Fisher has worked with plant tissue culture, and both closed system and greenhouse horticulture in university settings and private laboratories. He also has knowledge of several chemistries and technologies used in odor control, antimicrobial applications, indoor environmental quality, and specialty surface treatments. During his time working as a water quality researcher for the National Science Foundation, Mr. Fisher designed and implemented a study of the Kawkawlin River, located in Michigan. After completing his research paper, he was asked to present his findings in Washington D.C. before members of congress, the senate, the U.S. Military academy, academia, and other scientists working in the field. His efforts to raise awareness of the importance of water quality research have also led him to volunteer his time to educational institutions and non-profit organizations, promoting environmental stewardship through civic engagement and science education for children. Mr. Fisher also has experience in mycology and with the cultivation and use of medicinal mushrooms. He has helped commercial operations navigate regulations and all the obstacles which come with starting legal facility, and has many years of experience as a cultivator, processor, curing technician, compliance officer, general trouble shooting consultant, indoor environmental quality specialist, broker, staffing agent, team builder, and technical writer.
